A Compromised Rake

 

I finished A Compromised Rake in 2015 and finally published it in August 2018. It tells the tale of Cecily Waldrom who is a nice society girl and her long term love for Jeremy Charleson, now Earl of Marlbury. He is not ready to settle down and has been enjoying a licentious life as a Rake about town. He is well aware of his handsome appearance so enjoys female adulation and has no real plans to get married or to be faithful to a wife.

 

Unfortunately Cecily is under pressure to marry and the older Lord Colbermere is doing his best to put off her other suitors. However Jeremy manages to get compromised by Cecily, but she won't marry a man who does not love her. How is he going to convince her that he will change his rakish ways?
